Less Than Three

By the time John was done, his heart was beating rapidly, his lips curved in a soft smile. He could say he was genuinely happy. "Mmmhm." He hummed lightly. "You still gonna bunk with Dave?" He asked quietly.

"Probably. Unless he kicks me out onto the floor, but I doubt he'll do that" John hummed back. "But it'll be nice to have someone to talk to once Dave falls asleep."

Dirk hummed lightly before pressing his face against John's chest, giving him a content nuzzle of affection. Touching. He was never one for touching, but this. He could definitely get used to this. It would take some getting used to, sure, but he could work through it. "So...what should we do now?" He asked softly.

"I dunno" John admitted. "I guess, we could just stay here and cuddle? On the couch I mean. And watch Tv. Or we can order dinner"

"How bout we order food, then cuddle." Dirk suggested with a light smile. "Not sure how Dave will react to seeing that."

John made a face. "We'll have to do it eventually." he sighed "I just don't want to today"

"Right. I think Bro already knows." Dirk said, frowning a little. "I mean, he could tell what I was feeling."

"To be honest? I can kinds tell sometimes too. When you're nervous its easier to tell." John repiled

Dirk tried to ignore his cheeks flushing, clearing his throat awkwardly. "How so?" He asked, mumbling his words.

"Well, you're kind of twitchy, and you slip up, and stutter a little" John admitted. "But its cute. And I don't think Dave's caught on yet."

"C-Considering my social upbringing." Dirk said, averting his gaze with a light pout. "That's because Dave just thinks I'm odd. He doesn't think anything of it because I've always been the 'weird' older brother." Then he paused. "Well, weirder."

John giggled and pressed a kiss to his lips. "Well weirder is good in my book"

At that, Dirk gave him a lopsided smile, leaning up to press a kiss of his own to John'a lips. "I'm glad." He said, his hands gently rubbing John's back.

John wiggled a little so he could practically mold himself to Dirk's front. "You're my little weirdo, okay?" he giggled. "and you are littler than me, if only by a little bit!"

Dirk blushed at the movements, pressing his face against his John's shoulder, smiling against it so that he couldn't see. "I might be shorter, but I'm a helluva lot faster than you." He commented.

"Bet you're stronger than me too" John chuckled. "Bet you could hold me down if you wanted"

Dirk raised his brow at this, lifting his head to look up at John. "Is that an observation or a request?" He asked quietly.

John shrugged. "I actually... Don't really know. Maybe both?" he admitted with a blush. "I don't know where that came from to be honest" It was his turn to hide his face in Dirk's shoulder again.

In barely a second, John was on his back on the futon, his wrists pinned on either side of his head, his waist being straddled by the shorter male. He stared down at John's blue eyes, his own half-lidded and hidden, filled with a sort of affection. And all he could do was lightly smile down at him, a sort of smug victory hidden somewhere in there.

John didn't even know what hit him. He looked up at Dirk with wide eyes and scarlet cheeks, his heart hammering away in his chest. He gulped and tried to pull his wrists free, maybe a little excited south of the border. He hoped Dirk hadn't noticed.

Of course Dirk didn't notice. He might have, were he sitting down on John's pelvis, but luckily for the little Egderp, Dirk was sitting just above that area. "Seems like it was a request." He murmured softly, leaning down to press a soft and affectionate kiss to John's lips. While this wasn't on his list of things to do today, he definitely wasn't complaining.

John shuddered, closing his hands into fists. "Not gonna lie" he mumbled, his cheeks darkening farther. "This is nice"

"I couldn't agree more." He said softly, pressing another kiss to his lips before sitting up. little- just as the sound of Dave's door sounded.

"Okay fuck this Cal biz, I'm hungry, when are we gonna--" He stopped short as he walked out of his room, staring straight at the scene in front if him with pure surprise and shock.
"...Care to explain what the fuck's goin' on here?" He asked, taking the situation of Dirk having John pinned the absolute wrong way.

"Uhhhhh, yeah. Dave, I can totally explain. Just, not right now" John replied, his face still flushed.

Dave's gaze snapped to Dirk, eyes narrowed. "This better not be what it looks like."

"If you mean a victorious sight if your brother proving your friend wrong by indeed being able to pin him down without much effort, then yes, this is exactly what it looks like." He said, giving John's wrists a light squeeze before releasing them.

Dave was silent for a moment before he finally just huffed, crossing his arms. "Whatever, just don't get all weird on me. And order some damn food before my girlish figure bloats from starvation."
