No Strings Attached (Bro/Cal)

"Ant logs, apples, and oranges." Dave was happily munching on his snack, trying to get a whole peanut butter ant log into his mouth.

"I don't think I've had an ant log before" Cal admitted, emptying the dustpan into the trash before coming over to sit.

Dirk was eating much neater than Dave, taking actual bites.

"They're great. Healthy too. Ant logs are celery sticks with any filling you want, I use peanut and cream cheese, topped with raisins."
"Yummy!" Dave had peanut butter smeared on his chin. He grabbed an apple slice, shoving it into his mouth.

Dirk threw one of his apple slices over onto Dave's tray, eating an orange slice with the other hand.

Cal took one with cream cheese on it. "Its okay for me to have one?" he asked, to make sure.

Dave let out a happy squee before snatching up the apple slice and cramming it into his mouth.

Dirk threw another apple slice onto Dave's tray with a happy noise.

Cal nibbled on the ant log and made a pleased noise at the taste.

Jeff grinned at him. "Pretty fuckin good huh?" Heft grabbed a cream cheese ant log and took a bite. Dave let out smothered happy coo as he grabbed the apple Dirk had thrown at him. He grabbed another from his plate, then shoved both into his mouth.

Cal nodded happily.

Dirk sucked on his other orange slice.

Dave had eaten all of his apple slices. He was moving onto his ant logs, eating the peanut butter ones first. Jeff was grinning at Cal. "Dinner will be great tonight."

Cal blinked at him. "Am I invited?" he asked

Dirk threw his last two slices over to Dave.

Dave made a happy squee and smacked his tray in excitement before snatching io the fruit up and gobbling it up. Jeff nodded and chuckled. "Duh."

Cal grinned. "Thank you!"

Dirk giggled and clapped happily.

Jeff turning to check onthe the boys. Dave was down to his last two ant logs. Both cream cheese filled. He had only had eaten two of his orange slices. "Gonna eat those Bud?" "Bubby. " "You want bubby to have them?" "Bubby!" Jeff chuckled, taking the slices and putting them on Dirk's plate.

Dirk pushed his peanut butter ant logs forward with a grunt. He took the Orange slices with a smile.

Jeff ruffled his hair, smiling at the older twin. "Such sweet babies." Jeff gave one ant log to Dave and put the other two on Cal's plate.

Cal smiled. "Thank you" he chirped, a bit of cream cheese on his nose.

Dirk was eating with gusto now.

Dave was sucking on his ant log eagerly.

Jeff sat back down, grinning at Cal. "Have you ever had sales Mac?"

Cal shook his head. "No, is it good?" he asked, licking his lips.

Jeff grinned, grabbing the last apple slice from their plate. "Fantastic!" "TASTIC!" Dave was waving a tiny fist in the air, excited over hearing his older brother mention salsa mac.

Dirk nodded in agreement, causing Cal to giggle quietly. He ate another ant log with a blush as his stomach grumbled. As per usual, he hadn't eaten much for lunch that day. He hadn't eaten breakfast either; Bad children didn't get breakfast. "Can I help do anything?" Cal asked, talking around the ant log.

Jeff thought for a minute before smiling at him. "Just play with the boys while I make dinner."

"Okay. Do I need to know anything special?" Cal asked

Dirk finished his orange slices and waited patiently to be let back down.

Jeff got up, going to the high chairs. "Nope. All of their toys are in the living room." He let Dirk down first, then Dave right after him. Dave eagerly grabbed Dirk's hand and led him back to the living room.

Dirk made a face and tugged Dave to the hall instead. Their hands were sticky and he wanted to clean them before the toys got dirty.

Cal nodded as he got up to follow them.

Dave made a whiny, agitated noise but let Dirk lead him down the hall.
