No Strings Attached (Bro/Cal)

Dirk clung to Jeff, almost possessively.

Cal got up and followed them.

Jeff put the boys in their high chairs before going to get the food. "Time for SALSA MAC!" Dave immediately started to squee, slap his hands on his tray, and bounced as soon as Jeff said salsa mac. Jeff was chuckling as he put their bowls in front of them.

Dirk only glanced at his bowl. Most of his attention was on Cal.

Jeff took two bigger bowls to the table for him and Cal. He sat down and placed one bowl on the table. "Dig in."

"Is it really okay?" cal asked shyly.

Dave had snatched his bowl up as soon as it was set in front of him. Cheese and salsa was already smeared on his cheeks and chin. He was making little happy noises as he ate. Jeff chuckled and nodded at Cal. "Of course dude, that's why I offered. And there's plenty for all of us. Made two boxes tonight."

Cal grinned. "Thank you Jeff! You're really super nice, I dunno why I was scared of you before!"

Jeff shrugged and chuckled. "No idea man." Suck. He'd be fucking that cute little blonde in no time.

Cal turned his attention to the food, trying a bite and making a pleased noise when he found the taste to his liking.

Dirk picked at his food with his little plastic fork.

Dave eventually plopped his little fork down on his tray before digging both hands into his bowl and shoving the salsa mac into his mouth. Jeff sighed and shook his head, but was smiling. "What am I going to do with you?"

Cal ate less than half, probably less than a fourth before he was setting his fork down.

Dirk ate his food a lot neater than Dave.

Jeff had finished his first bowl and had gotten more. Dave looked down into his bowl before making a distressed face. He started to beat his tiny fist on the tray as he made noise of frustration.

"Is something wrong with Dave?" Cal asked.

Jeff laughed as he got up and grabbed Dave's bowl before going to the stove. "He just wants more."

Cal smiled. "That's cute. I'm full"

Jeff set a full bowl in front of Dave. The youngest Strider snatched it up instantly, knocking it over in the process. He was already shoving fistfuls into his mouth. "You can eat more later."

"I don't think I'll be able to finish it all, there's too much" Cal admitted

"It's alright. I'll save it for you until you go home."

"You don't have to" Cal smiled.

Jeff smiled back at him. "I want to. Need a drink?"

Cal shook his head. "I'm okay. I don't think I could even eat this much in a whole day" he admitted.

Jeff shrugged. "If you say so." He sat down to finish his second helping.

Cal swung his feet gently.

Dirk pushed his empty bowl away.

Jeff turned his attention to DIrk. "Want some more bud?"

Dirk shook his head.
