Re: Worth a Shot
Roxy laughed and lightly punched Dirk's shoulder. "Look at you. Already tryin to get with the new guy."
Dave huffed under his breath. It irritated him that Dirk was already flirting with Jake. He had seen him first, it wasn't fair. He already couldn't have John and he would be damned if anyone took Jake.
He cleared his throat scooted closer to Jake. "Well, it was nice seeing you two. We don't have any space left here. There's a nice table over there though." He was pointing to the other side of the restaurant.

Dirk shrugged. "There's one right there too" he stated, pointing to an empty booth next to theirs.
John smiled. "You can have my seat if you want, Roxy. You and Dirk could fit here with Rose, I could always sit on the end at a chair." he offered.

Re: Worth a Shot
Dave huffed again and crossed his arms. He did not want his older twin here. The youngest Strider could already feel his chance with Jake slipping away. This was so unfair. "Aren't you here to hang out with Roxy? Don't let us bother you."
Re: Worth a Shot
Dirk shrugged. "She bullied me to take her to dinner. Not really much hanging out." he stated. "What's your damage today?"
Re: Worth a Shot
Dave glared at him. "I just want to have some time with my friends. Without my brother around."
Re: Worth a Shot
Dirk shrugged. "Whatever." he turned to Roxy. "Sure you don't want to eat someplace else?"
Re: Worth a Shot
Roxy was still grinning at them. She was either completely oblivious to Dave's attitude or was just ignoring it. It really could be either with here. "I really want a good burger and fries."
Rose had been watching Dave's behavior towards his older brother. She cleared her throat and finally spoke up. "Our table is a bit crowded already. Perhaps next time we can get a booth big enough for all of us. Besides, we don't want to impose on your private time either."
Jade was too busy eating to give an opinion. Besides, Rose generally handled the talking best out of the four of them.

Re: Worth a Shot
John looked disappointed.
Dirk shrugged. "It isn't like I'm subjected to wizard porn saturdays." he stated.

Re: Worth a Shot
"Byeeeeeee." Roxy grabbed Dirk's hand again and lead him away to a booth.
Dave scooted slightly closer to Jake again. Now there was no space between them at all. Jade looked over to her brother. "What was with the looks at Dirk?"

Re: Worth a Shot
Dave nodded at him. "Just a bit cold."
jade shrugged at her brother. "You looked like you were interested in him."

Re: Worth a Shot
Jake blushed a little darker at having been caught. "I was only appreciating how he looked. I mean, I don't think he's really my type"
Re: Worth a Shot
Dave sighed quietly. His chance was gone. Jake probably was like everyone else and assumed the Strider Twins were exactly the same. "I'm full."
Re: Worth a Shot
"Besides, Personally, he seems a tad arrogant to me. I much prefer my current company"
Re: Worth a Shot
Dave's cheeks were turning pink as he stared at his lap. Maybe he still had a chance. God, he hoped he had a chance.
Re: Worth a Shot
Jake looked at Dave again. "Sure you're full? I believe I promised you a cheer up sundae"

Re: Worth a Shot
"Alright" Jake replied before turning back to Jade. "So what are we going to do on my first night back?" he asked with a smile
Re: Worth a Shot
Jade nodded at him. "Why don't you take him somewhere else? There's an ice cream parlor down the road that has great sundaes."
