Dave let out a sigh, a mix between pleased and upset. "I have someone I'm happy with. I don't care about what anyone thinks or says. I just want Jeff. He understand me best."

Dave was already sleeping. A hand curled and latched onto Dirk's shirt.

Dirk gently pet Dave's head, brushing his hair out of his face.

After an hour, Dave was still sleeping. He was still curled up to Dirk. The older twinss phone started to ring, blasting Dick's call tone. Dave moaned quietly and pressed his face to Dirk's chest.

Dirk grinned and gently slipped from Dave's grasp and out of the bed. He picked up his phone and pressed answer as he grabbed his pants from the floor. "D! Are you in Texas yet, did your flight just land? I can get Jeff's keys if you need a ride" Dirk started talking immediately. "I missed you so much, I already planned a bunch of cool stuff for us to do while you're in town"

Dave grunted as he curled in a ball. The line was silent as Dirk rapidly chatted away to his oldest brother. The phone was still silent after he stopped. Finally, Dick let out a sigh. "Kiddo, look....." Another long sigh. "A few things came up. I can't leave for another two hours. But I will be home tonight."

Dirk frowned. "What do you mean something came up? You have your own private jet. You've been planning this trip out here for almost a month. Its bad enough you had to stay an extra night because of that dumb actress that wouldn't stop bitching about her lines being too hard to the directer. You're the producer, tell them to fuck off"

Dick sighed again. "It's not the flight itself Dirk. I can't go into too much detail now, but a few things came up. A few idiots couldn't do their job and I have to fix their mistakes. I'm sorry."

"You do always do this!" Dirk yelled back "You always do this then act like its my own fault that I'm upset!" His fist clenched at his side, his other hand tightening around the phone. "You know what, I'll save you the fucking trouble. Don't come. Stay out there like you obviously want, I don't fucking care. I don't fucking need you" he snapped before hanging up.

Dave whimpered as he curled into a tighter ball. Dirk's phone was ringing again, Dick's call tone playing again.
