Unspoken Attraction (Dave/Karkat)

Dave rolled his eyes at his brother. "Thank you, Bro, like I don't already feel like a massive pedo every time I think about his super smooth troll junk or his itty bitty hands."

"Why his hands?" Jake asked.

"No need to feel bad. Just always make sure he has his id on him." Bro shrugged

"Karkat, could you hold up your hands for a sec?" Dave asked.

Karkat chirped and held up his pink little hands

Dave nodded. "Lookit those cute lil things." He tapped at the video feed where Karkat's hands were displayed. "My baby's got the softest little girl hands."

Karkat gave an indignant chirp

Bro laughed

"You know I only say it out of endearment," Dave insisted.

Karkat growled at him with a pout.

Dave pouted right back.

John laughed "the two of you are so cute!"

"Perfect for each other, ain't they Tav?" Bro smirked

"Mhm," Tavros hummed, cuddling Karkat. "Not as perfect as you, though."

"Nah, you're the perfect one Tav" Bro smiled.

"Ya'll got it all wrong," Dave snorted. "Upon the towering pedestal of perfection sits Nubs, the prettiest princess throughout the land."

"But he doesn't have horns anymore" Jake pointed out

"So?" Dave asked. "He'll always be Nubs to me."

Karkat chirped at him.

"What is it, baby?" Dave asked.

Karkat patted his bandages with a chirp.

Dave frowned. "Do you still hurt?"

"I think he's agreeing with me" John laughed.

Karkat nodded

"Fine, I'll call you 'Nub-less' from now on," Dave teased. "I really am going to miss making horn puns, though."

Karkat trilled at him.

Dave adjusted his borrowed shades from Bro. "How are you feeling, anyway?"

Karkat chirped and started signing slowly. The gist of it was that he felt fine now.

"Does it still hurt to type?" Dave asked in concern.
