Midnight Secrets

"We'll plan around whatever happens tomorrow or later on." Boxcars said with a small grin before finishing off his slice, going for another one.

Deuce was only halfway done with his first slice. Hopefully nothing drastic happened before tomorrow morning. The only thing to worry about really was Droog leaving in the middle of the night. "Boxcars?"

"Yeah?" He asked as he took another bite, getting up when the oven went off to signal the fries being finished.

Deuce was staring down at his plate. "Can...can we do something tonight?" He felt embarassed to ask and he wasn't sure why. Thinks had been hectic around the whole hideout lately. Everyone had something that needed to do immediately for the past week or so. That hadn't left much free time. Deuce didn't really care what they did. He didn't even mind if they were intimate tonight or not. He just wanted to spend time with his larger companion.

After pulling the fries out and setting the tray and the pan aside before turning off the oven, he turned and grinned at the smaller male. "Sure thing, Deuce. I ain't got nothin' to do tonight." He walked over and took a seat right next to him rather than across from him. "'S been a while with everything goin' on. I think we all need to relax a little."

Deuce looked up and grinned at him. Boxcars meant a lot to him. He wasn't really sure if he'd say he loved the other man, but he cared about him a lot. Droog deserved to be happy like this. To have someone to be with happy with. The smaller crew member grabbed himself another slice of people.

The feelings were mutual for the larger man. He wanted to protect Deuce from the harsh conditions of the world, even though he knew he could handle himself. But it wasn't a brotherly sort of protection. He liked it whenever he felt the smaller hand slip into his when they were watching movies. He liked it whenever he felt Deuce curl against him when they slept. Was this true intimacy? He didn't know, but he did know that he loved every moment of it.

Deuce continued to eat in silence. Hearts was good company. From day one he had always been good to Clubs. And he didn't baby the smaller man like a lot of other people did. He was a grown ass adult damn it, not a baby. He could take care of himself. Deuce knew he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box either. But damn it he tried hard to keep up with everyone else. Boxcars never treated him like he was an idiot.

If anyone was considered an idiot, it would have to be Boxcars. The man had no real formal education past high school due to issues regarding the certain company he kept. Then he joined the Crew when he was older, and now, here he is. Partially illiterate, but give him a strategy and he'll shrink the shit out of it. Deuce treated him like he was an intellectual and not some stupid uneducated bumpkin. "So whatcha wanna do tonight?" He asked his counterpart.

Deuce shrugged before getting up. He went to a cabinet for a glass then filling it with water. "I don't know." He went back to the table. He scooted his chair closer to Hearts's chair. "I'm okay with anything really. Just wanna spend time with you."

"How bout a nice movie?" He asked as he moved closer himself. "And a bed for two? Does that sound good to you?" He asked him, slipping his arm around the other's shoulders.

"That sounds great." Deuce was grinning again. "Your room or mine?" He was hoping Boxcars would want to be in his own room. He had the room at the farthest end of the hall. His room was the farthest from Slick's room. The last thing the shorter male wanted was Slick getting mad at them tonight.

"Mine." He said with a grin. "My bed's bigger. More room to spread out. And I got the most pillows." It didn't need to be said that they should keep from Slick as much as possible. That was another reason he hoped their plan worked. If Slick and Droog were together, Slick couldn't say jack shit if he caught him and Deuce being all physical friendly. That's one way to put it.

Duece continued to eat in silence. Hopefully this big mess or whatever it was would be over soon, Things were somewhat miserable around the hideout to begin. If Droog left things would get much worse. That is of the crew didn't just fall apart entirely. He didn't want to think about that. The Midnight Crew was all Deuce really had left. What about him and Hearts? Would the older male stay if him if their team split?

Boxcars finished off his portion, making sure to leave enough for Droog and Slick, should they get hungry in the middle of the night. He patiently waited for his companion to finish as well so they could retreat into the confines of his room.

Deuce finished up not long after. He chugged the rest of his pop, belching quite loudly. "Should we leave the rest out for them? Or should we put it away?"

"Maybe just put it back in the oven, but turn it off. So that way it stays warm till the morning." Boxcars suggested as he got to his feet, taking up their dishes to toss or clean.

Deuce got up and grabbed the food. He was humming as he walked over to put it back in the oven. "Maybe I should learn to cook better. Make things a bit easier for Droog."

"You cook jus' fine." Boxcars assured him with a grin as he picked the smaller man up, seating him on his shoulder before he headed towards his room.

Deuce grinned as he wrapped an arm around Boxcar's head. The older man always made him feel better. "I should cook more. To give Droog a break, ya know? Outta all of us he does the most."

He tilted his head towards the smaller male, nuzzling against his hip. "Mmhm, that he does. I can do my part 'round here too."

Deuce let out a quiet purr. He couldn't live without this anymore. Boxcars gentle touches and caresses. His smiles that only the smaller man got to see.

Boxcars stepped into his room and shut the door behind them, making sure to lock it in case the boss came barging in. That wouldn't be a pretty sight. He walked over to the bed and dropped Deuce onto it, grinning down at him. "You wanna pick the movie?"

Deuce was still grinning as he hit the bed. He sat up to watch the older male. "Let's watch Dirty Dancing. I haven't seen that in awhile now."

"Classic." Boxcars hummed in immense approval as he moved to put the movie in. Once it was started, he crawled into bed up to the pillows, pulling Deuce with him.
