Jade hummed as she nodded. "Gramps and I were talking about getting a car for me before the move. But he didn't want me driving all the way here by myself. I was going to talk to him about it again later this month."

John hummed an affirmative and did as he was asked. "I think Jane wants something little. I want something that runs good"

Jade walked past the stairs and down a hallway. She took John by the kitchen and living room as well. "I think your dad purposefully picked a house with one room on the first floor. Thank god for that too."

Jade sighed again. "I worry about him, John. I know Grandpa can take care of himself, but he is getting older. His back and knees get worse every year but he doesn't want to admit it. I'm afraid something bad will happen to him....."

Jade nodded as she lifted the mattress. "He still goes with Slick as an enforcer since Jake is still learning. Plus Slick said Grandpa looks meaner than him. But Slick did say he needs to retire soon."
