John let out a sob. He was just being a burden now. Dad was probably secretly ashamed of him. He could not tell him about his feelings for Dave or his potential feelings for Dirk. He would more thank likely be even more ashamed of his son. "Please go away Dad."

John pressed his face into his pillow as he started to cry. He just wanted to sleep now. Sleep and hopefully not wake up.

John continued to cry. He wrapped his arms around his father tightly. After a few minutes his phone started to ring. It was sitting on his desk.

John choked loudly. "Who is it?" He was embarassed Dad had to watch him cry. Now he just wanted to pretend it never happened.
