Unspoken Attraction (Dave/Karkat)

"You miss me?" Dave asked, petting the back of Karkat's head.

"While you're both down here, why don't you help yourselves to something in the fridge?" Ms. Lalonde offered.

Karkat nodded, pressing himself closer to Dave.

"That sounds good to me" Bro admitted "What about you sweetie?"

Dave scooted down a bit and gave Karkat a kiss.

"We have left over lasagna from last night." Tavros took Bro by the arm and lead him towards the kitchen.

Karkat let out a happy chirp.

"Eating meat again?" Bro asked

"How're you feeling?" Dave muttered between kisses. "You look good. Still feeling any pain?"

Tavros nodded. "I can eat little bits, now."

Karkat nodded as he purred louder.

"Smell still bother you?" Bro asked

Dave made a pitying moan in his throat. "I'm sorry you're still not feeling well, baby."


"Kind of. Not so much any more." Tavros lead Bro to the dining table, hurrying over to the fridge to retrieve the lasagna.

Karkat lifted a hand and papped Dave's head with it.

"That's good" Bro smiled

Dave took Karkat's hand and covered it in kisses. "You need anything?"

"I guess so." Tavros looked around in the fridge, pulling out the dish from the other night. "How was the trip?"

Karkat nodded

"Boring. Thought Dave was gonna piss his pants in excitement"

Dave let Karkat's hand go so he could sign if he wanted. "What do you need?"

Tavros giggled as he peeled back the plastic wrap. "Really? What about you?"

Karkat pointed to his lips and made a kissy noise.

"I couldn't wait to see the look on your face when we got here"

Dave smirked, leaning in to give Karkat more kisses.

"I am having a hard time keeping my hands off you even now," Tavros admitted, getting out a couple of plates from a cabinet.

Karkat let out a pleased noise.

"Is that so?" Bro smirked

Dave wrapped his arms around Karkat as he deepened the kiss.

Tavros nodded guiltily, getting out their utensils.

Karkat shuddered

"Then why don't we skip lunch?" Bro smirked

"You okay?" Dave muttered softly, pressing lighter kisses against Karkat's lips.

"What did you have in mind?" Tavros asked, fumbling with the butter knife he was going to use to cut up the lasagna with.

Karkat nodded.

"I don't know, you have a room?"

"You cold? You need me to get you some more blankets?" Dave offered with a smile.

Tavros slowly began to reseal the lasagna as he watched Bro with interest. "Yeah, next to Karkat's... why?"

Karkat shook his head.

"Let's go use it" Bro smirked

Dave gave Karkat another kiss. "You wanna get some more sleep?"

Tavros rushed to put the lasagna and utensils away again before gesturing for Bro to follow him back out of the kitchen.

Karkat shook his head.

Bro followed Tav with his hands in his pockets

Dave ran his fingers through Karkat's hair. "What would you like to do?"

Tavros was cautious as he made his way up the stairs again, one hand on the banister, the other on his stomach. He was eager to get into a room with his matesprit, but he had also seen enough movies and tv shows with pregnant women and staircases for him to know better than to rush.

Karkat purred and nuzzled him.

Bro followed close behind.

Dave chuckled at Karkat's response. "Alright. You can have all the cuddling your little blood pusher desires."

Once they were on the second floor, Tavros passed Karkat's room and showed Bro inside his own room.
