"Yeah, not in a very pleasant mood last I talked to him. Lost some major funding for his newest project. Had to fire both main leads. His visit might be a month or two longer than usual."

"Right, well, I will warn Robert then" Josh replied, his smirk vanishing instantly.

Jeff patted Dave on the head. "Why don't you run inside and see where Tavros went. I need to talk to Josh in private for a minute."

"Down the hall on the left, Hearts is probably bandaging that cut on his forehead." Josh supplied

Dave peeked around Josh into the house. Jeff pulled Dave from behind him and nudged him forward. "No need to be shy, kiddo."

"Jake and Jade don't bite. I'm sure they'll love to really meet you later after they take care of Jake's cat" Josh supplied, stepping asidei

Dave was silent as he went into the house. Jeff watched to make sure he was gone before turning to Josh again.

"Dick's pretty pissy right now because he fired his personal assistant, Ginger. His personal assistant that he had....relations with. I don't know entirely what went down but some pretty nasty things were said."

"Doesn't he know relationships that involve the work place never end well?" Josh sighed

Jeff shrugged at him. "Apparently not. Richard is a bit incompetent when it comes to relationships."

"Hasn't he always been?" Josh snorted. "Him and Robert both."

Jeff laughed and shook his head. "Come on brats, let's get yer cat to the animal ER."

"Perhaps some trousers are in order, strider?" Josh stated with a chuckle

"True. Meet me at my car in 10."

"I will send them along"

Jeff was whistling as he went back to his house.

Tavros was sitting out on the front lawn with Dave and a very sleepy looking Cal. "Hi mister strider!" he chirped.

Cal yawned widely.

Jeff grinned at Cal and waved. Dave had grabbed his 3DS and was showing Tavros his pokedex. Jade got out of the car first and paused. Jake got out next, moving quite slow and looking a bit sluggish. Cat was still clutched to his chest. Cat's entire back leg was covered with a dark green cast.

"Kit kat's all better now!"

Jade wrapped an arm around Jake and steered him towards the house.

Tavros smiled before looking back to Dave's 3ds. "We'll have to exchange friend codes" he stated.

Cal smiled back and lifted his arms questioningly.

Jade was murmuring to Jake was she took him inside. Jeff grinned as he leaned down to kiss Cal's forehead. "Jojo and Dickie will be here soon. Where's Dirkie Doo?"

"Attic" Cal mumbled to him. "Working on something or other. New neighbors?"

Jeff shook his head. "It's Robert and Josh. They moved to Texas."

Jade waved at Cal as she came back out of the house and went to Jeff's car.

"Who?" Cal asked, obviously not on top of his game at the given moment. "I got home not even really ten minutes ago and its been a terrible day"

Jeff ruffled his hair. "Egbert and Harley."

Jade was humming as she walked by, cradling a small pig in her arms. Dave raised a brow as he watched her. "They didn't leave with a pig....."

"Yeah. Bit of a long story."

Cal made a slight face. "greaaaaaat"

"What? pig??" Tavros asked looking up

Jeff frowned at him. "What? What's wrong."

Dave nodded at him. "She was holding a pig."
