Unspoken Attraction

Tavros took the hint when he heard Dave and Karkat's names mentioned. "O-oh, shit. Uh, tell Karkat I say hi," he sputtered out quickly.

"Will do" Bro smiled. "I'll talk to you later TavBro." he stated before getting off the phone. "TavBro says hi to the two of you. And he has to come home early, some of the other trolls have started getting sick."

"It's too bad he doesn't get to hang out with everyone a little longer, but I was kinda missing him," Dave admitted.

"He's trying to get a flight to be home tomorrow. After Breakfast why don't you go get a kiddie pool and umbrella?" Bro asked. "You can take my card and I can hunt down an old pair of your old swim trunks so that Karkat has something to swim in."

Dave grinned. "Sounds good. How're the pancakes coming along?"

Bro flipped the pancake in the pan off onto a plate with a few others. "Slowly. Probably got enough for you and Karkat at the moment."

Karkat perked up at his name.

Dave nodded, petting Karkat on the head. "Alright. I can wait until yours are done."

"If the two of you want to go ahead and eat, go for it" Bro replied. "I can wait"

"Nah, it's cool, I don't mind," Dave insisted with a smile. "Least I can do for you not strangling me."

"If you wait, these might get cold" Bro pointed out.

Dave shrugged. "I'm okay with that."

"Alright, if you say so" Bro shrugged

Dave went back to nuzzling the troll in his lap with a content hum.

Karkat grunted, but put up with the nuzzles. After a minute or two, he started purring again.

Bro chuckled at them.

"Such a sweety," Dave muttered into the troll's ear.

Karkat turned his head to try and nip at Dave's nose.

"Watch out, looks like he bites" Bro teased

Dave leaned back, avoiding the bite easily. "Kinky."

Karkat hissed, causing Bro to laugh.

"Jeeze Dave, way to think with your dick" He flipped another pancake onto the plate

"Hard not to around a cutie like this one," Dave chuckled.

Karkat glared at Dave and shoved at his chest to make him let go.

"Looks like you made him mad"

Dave let go of Karkat, crossing his arms across his chest with that smug look still spread across his face. "Wasn't hard getting him mad online, either."

Karkat glared at him sharply before scrambling off his lap and darting down the hallway out of sight.

"I did not mean to scare you away, come back baby," Dave teased.

"I think you made him mad more than anything else" Bro stated. He flipped another pancake off the pan and poured the last of the batter in.

Dave rolled his eyes. "I know, Bro."
