"No" Jake grumbled, flopping down on his bed, his room a disaster. "No I'm not"

Jade crawled up to be by his side. She sat next to him, gentely stroking his hair. "I'm sorry."

Jake pulled his pillow over his head with a grunt.

Jade started to rub his stomache. "You're too good for Dirk, Jake. You two just don't belong together like that."

"I know. But I can't help it." Jake muttered into the pillow.

Jade continued to rub his belly. "You'll find someone for you."

"Unlikely. Dirk's right. No one in their right mind would want me." Jake stated.

"What makes you say that?"

"I'm a big hairy weirdo." Jake replied "that's what makes me say that"

Jade giggled and patted his stomache. "You just have to find someone that's in to big, hairy weirdos."

"Like you?" Jake grumbled

Jade grinned and laughed. "Just like me."

Jake sighed loudly. "Weirdo." he muttered affectionately.

"You love me." She lightly pinched his stomache.

"Lord only knows why" Jake smiled.

"Cause I'm pretty good in bed."

"You're decent in bed" Jake replied.

Jade stuck her tongue out at him. "I'm great and you know it."

"Moderate. When I'm feeling generous." Jake replied

Jade playfully rolled her eyes. "Trying not to inflate my ego? I already know I'm great."

Jade pretended to be offended. "Are you implying Dirk is better than me? Because I work that strap on pretty good."
