Jade snorted. "You have our roles confused."

"Prove me wrong then" Jake smirked.

Jade smirked back. "How?"

"Get creative" Jake smirked

"How?"

"I don't know. Not really my problem now is it?"

Jade shrugged. "Isn't my problem either."

"Sucks to be you then" Jake replied with a shrug.

"Nope. It's still great being me."

"You think" Jake snickered.

"I know so."

"Still say you should prove it"

Jade. Crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. "You're an ass."

"I've been told I have a fine one too" Jake winked.

"No. Just flat and hairy." Jade checked the time on her phone. "I have homework to do."

"Go do your homework" Jake sighed, rolling onto his side.

Jade booped his nose before standing up. "I'm going to start on dinner around 6. Any requests?"

"How about some tai food. Heavy on the nuts, because, well, I have to be at this point."

Jade rolled her eyes. "Your nuts are heavy enough."

"I'll be down to clean up my mess here in a moment"

Jade nodded. "You had better be. Gramps will bust your ass if you don't."

"I know" Jake sighed. "Trust me, I know."

Jade nodded again before leaving the room.

Jake got up with a sigh and started picking up his room.

Dirk had gone to the park after leaving the Harley/English household. He'd prove he didn't need Jake. He didn't need Jake anyway. Most people would kill to hop into bed with a Strider. He'd rub in the other boy's face too. By the end of the month Jake would be crawling back to the older Strider twin. Dirk supposed he would forgive him. After a shit ton of begging. And spreading his pretty, well muscled legs. One of the only things he was good at to begin with.
