Dave sat right up when Jake mentioned that. "Fuck that's right, he might be up right now. Maybe... I mean, possibly, trolls usually seem to sleep during the day, but I still want to check."

Dave scrambled for his laptop and set it on his lap, logging in as fast as he could with one hand.

Karkat was already logged on.

Dave sent him a quick message.

'Hey, my sweet and salty crab quiche, how's it going?'
