You Bleed Like Me (Karkat/Dave)

"That guy? Please. He's one of those sweaty gamer nerds who never tread in the light of day." He said with a snort. He pressed another kiss to his cheek before nodding. "Sure."

Karkat shifted and made a face at the feeling of his soiled pants. He got up, looking at the red of Dave's lap and what he could see on the bed guiltily. That was why he always wore black, all of his bodily fluids stained like some sort of freaky kool-aid.

Dave stood up once his lap was no longer inhabited. He looked down at the mess, then at his bed. That definitely wasn't coming out. It was fine though, he needed new sheets anyway. He turns and faces Karkat, lacing his fingers between his own before leading him towards the bathroom.

Karkat licked his sluggishly bleeding lip, wincing a little. "Um. You can still make it to class if you hurry" he stated, watching their laced hands.

"Seriously dude, it's fine." He said with a light smile, walking into the bathroom. He started the water, adjusting the temperature before letting it run.

Karkat continued to fidget nervously, wringing his hands together now that Dave wasn't holding one of them. "But earlier you said we shouldn't skip anymore classes" he pointed out.

Dave gave a shrug, watching the tub as it filled up "I say a lot of things. We have an excuse for ourselves this time, though it won't work for the teachers." He looked at Karkat now, gently taking one of his hands to keep him from fidgeting. "If anything, we can say we both got sick. Something we ate last night or something."

"okay" Karkat mumbled. He forced himself to try and relax, but his soaked pants were a little hard to relax in, so he continued to shift uncomfortably.

Once the tub was filled and comfortably warm, Dave ceased the flow of water before standing straight, peeling off his own shirt and pants.

Karkat bit his lip as he watched Dave. When he got to his pants, he realized he should probably strip too. He tugged his shirt off hastily and dropped his pants. Streaks of red ran down his legs to end in his socks, the top of the white stained a dark pinkish red and his boxers were soaked as if he had jumped into a pool rather than just cum his pants.

Dave peeled off his socks as well before letting his boxers drop shamelessly. They were matesprits, so he was sure Karkat wouldn't mind. He looked over at him, waiting for him to fully strip as well.

Karkat looked away, worrying his lip more between his teeth. He hesitated before finally slipping his boxers down, kicking them off with his socks. He continued to fidget where he stood, covering himself with his hands and feeling more exposed than he ever had before.

He took note of how squeamish the troll was, though he knew why. He slowly approached him and, while keeping their bodies apart, pressed a kiss to his forehead while caressing one of his cheeks. Easy now, one step at a time. "Don't worry so much, Karkat...It's just us here." He murmured softly. He reached down with his free hand, running it along his arm until it reached one of his hands. "I won't look if that will make you feel better." He assured him as he moved back, lightly pulling him towards the tub.

Karkat swallowed and nodded, stumbling slightly as he moved forward with Dave toward the tub. "Promise?" he asked softly. He knew he shouldn't be as embarrassed as he was, Dave was his matesprit, but he'd never been so exposed before.

"Yeah man. Cross my heart and everything." He says with a smile. He steps back into the tub first, guiding Karkat in with him before lowering the both of them into the pleasantly warm water.

The water almost immediately tints pink when Karkat sits and the tip of his ears flush dark. "Um. Sorry... about your sheets... and pants" he mumbled. "That," he cleared his throat softly, "that won't come out"

He shook his head, waving it off. "Chill man, no worries. Pants are black for a reason." He rests back against the wall and sighs contently. "We just know for next time. Live and learn, right?"

Karkat nodded slowly. "Yeah, I guess" he mumbled, shifting so he could lean back against Dave slightly. "Shame mine are grey though."

"Is grey all you have?" He asked, loosely slipping his arms around the top of Karkat's shoulders.

"Yes." Karkat mumbled. "Its easier to match with my shirts. And to black." He shifted, shrugging his shoulders so Dave's arms fell into a more comfortable place on his shoulders.

Dave gave a thoughtful hum, closing his eyes as he thought. "Maybe you should throw some black pants into the mix." He suggested.

"Its too hard to match blacks. Most of my shirts are black, and it looks bad when they are two different shades against each other." Karkat murmured. "Besides, black makes me look shorter."

He gave a sound of understanding before pulling his arms back. He then busied himself to rubbing at Karkat's shoulders, frowning slightly when he felt knots. "Tense much?"

"I'm a nocturnal species that goes against instinct and comes out with the sun." Karkat stated with a snort. "Tense doesn't usually begin to cover it." He purred softly, shifting his shoulders a little. "You don't have to do that you know"

"I know. But maybe I want to." He teased lightly, working his nimble fingers into a knot and kneading it out before moving on to the next. "Gives me something to do with my hands."
